What are the basic rules for sending parcels and packages from Ukraine?

In order to send a shipment or a parcel from Ukraine to Estonia you need to make sure that your goods are not prohibited in Estonia and can be cleared. This information can be requested from the carrier or the recipient. 

If your parcel contains prohibited goods or requires permission for export, you will not be able to send them. In addition, depending on the contents, you may be required to provide proof of origin or a technical description and purpose.

What documents do I need to send a parcel from Ukraine to Estonia?

The list of documents is individual and is based on the specifics of the product, the place where you ordered it, and your legal status.

• Passport information.
• TIN.
• Accreditation card of the legal person (LLC, PE, etc.).
• Contract, invoice, product specifications, packing list.
• Permit to export samples of some or other goods, if required.

To send an international parcel by an individual in Ukraine, the following documents are required:

• Passport, TIN code, or other documents confirming the identity of the recipient. For non-Ukrainian citizens only a passport.
• Checks or printouts from the site where the cost of purchase is indicated.
• Bill of lading and an invoice for the parcel – this can be obtained at the reception desk of the carrier or electronically by mail.
• Export declaration for legal entities.
• For companies with an invoice of up to 150 Euros the customs clearance on application.
• Individuals up to 10 000 Euros clearance at the request, over the customs declaration.

There is no customs duty to be paid when sending a parcel or cargo from Ukraine to Estonia. 

The total cost of delivery may include:

Let's calculate the volume weight in cm: 50*20*20=20000/5000 = 4 kg  

If the estimated weight is less than the actual weight, the cost of delivery calculation will be by actual weight – 10 kg
